  • Dalmatian Club Weekend

    No Qs 🙁

    We showed 3 days in 9 classes.  She's never been able to do that before.  She has usually shuts down on me.

    1 Clean Run (Sunday's JWW — the last run)

    4 out of 5 teeters and the one she couldn't get was the Open Send Teeter.  We all think it is mean to put teeters in sends.  We think 4 dogs Qed in Open.

    3 Weaves — Took mother figuring out that she had to stop Macy just after the preceding obstacle to straighten her out and get her head up.

    Figured out that I had to stop fussing to get her to run. 

    Very valuable weekend.

     

     

  • JWW – not so good

    Weird as she stopped and peed before we ran but she wasn’t moving at all and a dump about 2/3rds through. A real hard solid one.

  • Novice FAST–December 3

    I really focused on keeping Macy’s attention and as a result, we had a beautiful run from the 9 point tunnel, 3 point jump, 7 point Teeter to the wrong end of the tunnel.  At that point she got stressed because

    a) I kept trying to get her to the right end of the tunnel

    b) I couldn’t move forward because of the line

    BUT until then she was fabulous!  And was just going too fast to her me call her off the tunnel.  Fast is good.

  • 2nd Novice FAST Q

    While I lost her between the first jump and the second she got her act together and did everything else.

    We earned 52 points lost 2 on time and ended up with 50 points for the Q.

  • Teacup Weekend

    Macy was looking great as a big dog in the crowd. Its so cute to see her huge next to the equipment.

    We got a Q and first place in tunnelers.

    The rest of the time we were “off by one” from Qing. I remembered to focus on keeping her up. Got compliments on her improvement!

  • First standard run not so good

    Several refusals and wouldn’t sit at the table but the rest was clean and refusals don’t count.

  • Teacup – tunnelers

    Macy and I just got a Q and a 1st in our first Teacup game – Tunnelers

    It was a long course – see pictures but we were clean and faster than anyone else.

  • Just not that into it

    Just had a really bad JWW run because Macy didn’t have her head uv the game and I haven’t made that complaint in a while,

    I have a feeling that my fellow competitors got to me and got me out of my routine

    We’ll see because were running again in a few

    Well she had moments – started out food seeking then was into it and then got completely out of any good mood when we hit the teeter – honestly don’t know if it is me or her but think it is probably me.

  • Quick day

    Quick day -we have been finished for a while. Ended up warm which probably didn’t help.

    No Qs —

    JWW had a refusal at the weaves and knocked the top of the triple.

    She jumped off the teeter on the opposite after a perfect entry and had lousy weaves -another refusal which is weird as home is perfect and so is class lately

  • Nice Jumpers run

    Fast course, hard on slow handler – pushed too hard for speed on the last jump and got on off course. She was moving slower than I would have liked over all.
