I have had Dulce for a week.
She and the other beagle girls are getting along well. She had a lovely time at the agility trial and would like to thank everyone who made over her.
She is responding to her name.
She is starting to do sits and downs, but not quite on cue yet.
She came walking on a leash and still does that well, and came posing for the judge, and I think she still does that well too, we’ll see next Saturday.
Her car sickness seems to be better. My husband helped with that, and played with her a lot when we got home from the trial last night.
I had put her in the car, left her for about 5 minutes today and came back to her drooling. Went over to Dog City, but the drool wasn’t as bad. It still took her a while recuperate and she did really well sitting in the car over there while I worked Macy.
I’m very pleased with her.
She’s in a “Level I” class at Dog City and have her scheduled for a conformation class there that starts in June. We’ll go to Garland in the meantime.
Macy had problems with the teeter at the trial and came back to Dog City having problems. We ended up going back to “Bang it”. When we left, she was doing them on her own again. I need to really concentrate on that this summer, and need to schedule a regular time for that.
It sure is nice to have a dog training place 10 minutes from the house.
