{"id":212,"date":"2011-01-22T21:05:35","date_gmt":"2011-01-22T21:05:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/beagles\/frustration\/"},"modified":"2011-01-22T21:05:35","modified_gmt":"2011-01-22T21:05:35","slug":"frustration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/beagles\/frustration\/","title":{"rendered":"Frustration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dulce is doing really well as a conformation dog and as an agility dog, but lousy as a companion.&#160; She doesn\u2019t really like to get in the car, and she is very destructive around the house.&#160; She doesn\u2019t seem to be making progress in those areas, and I am very frustrated.<\/p>\n<p>The hopefully, last straw was when she got either in my desk or on my desk and get a hold of an insulin pump holder and matching meter case.&#160; I don\u2019t think I paid for them, and I don\u2019t wear them often, but it was the fact that they were put away and she shouldn\u2019t have gotten them.&#160; <\/p>\n<p>Her problem is that she likes to solve puzzles.&#160; Unfortunately, though she doesn\u2019t really understand that the best puzzle to solve is how to get my attention in a positive way.&#160; <\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve spent a few days trying to get over the last escapade \u2013 she really scared me once when she chewed the cap off my insulin pump when I was napping with her (fortunately I keep extras).&#160; <\/p>\n<p>And yes, I have come close to returning her to the breeder because of the problem.&#160; But she really is a good agility dog, and I don\u2019t want to give that part up.<\/p>\n<p>A work in progress.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dulce is doing really well as a conformation dog and as an agility dog, but lousy as a companion.&#160; She doesn\u2019t really like to get in the car, and she is very destructive around the house.&#160; She doesn\u2019t seem to be making progress in those areas, and I am very frustrated.
