{"id":134,"date":"2015-07-02T19:42:20","date_gmt":"2015-07-02T19:42:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/cs\/tutoring-with-wyzant\/"},"modified":"2015-07-02T19:42:20","modified_gmt":"2015-07-02T19:42:20","slug":"tutoring-with-wyzant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/cs\/tutoring-with-wyzant\/","title":{"rendered":"Tutoring With Wyzant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I forgot how much fun tutoring face to face can be.<\/p>\n<p>I have hit&#0160;a spell with WyzAnt where I was ready to give up.&#0160; In fact, this reminds me that I need to ping a potential student and see if we can get started again.<\/p>\n<p>I currently had two people contact me.<\/p>\n<p>One is another WyzAnt tutor and she&#39;s gotten tired of the tutoring thing so needed help&#0160; branching out in a new business.&#0160; She and I had loads of fun together last week.<\/p>\n<p>The second one is a parent of a 14 year old.&#0160; I thought she might be looking for someone to supervise the kiddo, because she was very cautious.&#0160; Wanted another background check which is fine, mine was a year old and&#0160; I paid for it.<\/p>\n<p>He is so cool.&#0160; He really does want to learn how to make websites that work with databases.&#0160; So I am starting him out with the basics, we&#39;ve started with both <a class=\"zem_slink\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=-7.49166666667,110.004444444&amp;spn=0.1,0.1&amp;q=-7.49166666667,110.004444444 (Java)&amp;t=h\" rel=\"geolocation\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Java\">Java<\/a> and HTML.&#0160; I am also answering questions as we go and he has so many good questions.<\/p>\n<p>So if you want to learn programming and web design, we can do it face to face or online.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I forgot how much fun tutoring face to face can be.
