{"id":496,"date":"2011-02-10T20:42:52","date_gmt":"2011-02-10T20:42:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/cs\/wednesday-morning\/"},"modified":"2011-02-10T20:42:52","modified_gmt":"2011-02-10T20:42:52","slug":"wednesday-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/cs\/wednesday-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday &#8211; Morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>First event to was a round table discussion on  Robotics, middle  school and Lego.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While I am probably doing First, they had some really good thoughts.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>These are the suggestions made:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure all the team members know how to build and how to program.<span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Have specific goals in activities.\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Be organized as the students can get obsessed.\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Which should you teach, CTE or Tech Apps\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Presenter went over all of the Technology CTE courses along with Pathways.  Also went over the proposed changes to Tech Apps.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Most interesting part is that there I can teach most of the Technology CTE courses with my Tech Apps certificate.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CTE teachers haven&#8217;t not learned that they have to recruit.
