{"id":594,"date":"2010-08-03T07:07:39","date_gmt":"2010-08-03T07:07:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/cs\/no-longer-campus-tech\/"},"modified":"2010-08-03T07:07:39","modified_gmt":"2010-08-03T07:07:39","slug":"no-longer-campus-tech","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/cs\/no-longer-campus-tech\/","title":{"rendered":"No longer Campus Tech"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Probably the responsibility that has driven me the craziest.&#160; Yes, I freely admit that.<\/p>\n<p>It involved making sure that reports of down equipment were entered, including phones.&#160; Involved making sure dead equipment was removed.&#160; Make sure Novell passwords were reset, etc.&#160; Also responsible for online testing, required surveys, etc.&#160; <\/p>\n<p>It was a lot like herding cats.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m still responsible for the school website, that was a volunteer aspect of it.<\/p>\n<p>Losing some of the abilities is going to be worrisome \u2013 people needed me.&#160; Plus anything that was needed for my classroom was done immediately.&#160; Especially things like Novell passwords, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and they haven\u2019t filled the job for my replacement.<\/p>\n<p>It will be nice to be a teacher again.&#160; I\u2019ve been teacher tech for the majority of the 18 years at my school, and backup for the real teacher tech when I wasn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and losing the $1000 a semester isn\u2019t good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Probably the responsibility that has driven me the craziest.&#160; Yes, I freely admit that.
