{"id":7,"date":"2025-07-04T07:26:45","date_gmt":"2025-07-04T07:26:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/cs\/mindtap-cengage-issue-run-check-failed\/"},"modified":"2025-07-04T07:26:45","modified_gmt":"2025-07-04T07:26:45","slug":"mindtap-cengage-issue-run-check-failed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/cs\/mindtap-cengage-issue-run-check-failed\/","title":{"rendered":"Mindtap \/ Cengage Issue = Run check failed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m taking a class at Dallas College. &#0160;Programming in Java. &#0160;I wanted to see if there was a better way to teach Java. &#0160;Well, they are doing it the same way we have been doing it for decades.<\/p>\n<p>Disappointed in the instructor but that\u2019s another post.<\/p>\n<p>We are using an electronic book, and the exercises are in MindTap by Cengage. &#0160;It ties until GitHub and does some magical stuff. &#0160;On July 3, I was happily working on assignments when the system failed.<\/p>\n<p>I contacted Cengage and they were already on holiday and couldn\u2019t help until Monday. &#0160;So I did some digging and I discovered that I really didn\u2019t want everything in my GitHub account anyway. &#0160;I decided to create a new account using my Dallas College login. &#0160;It took a lot of effort and a whole bunch of scary messages but I finally got everything working again. &#0160;I\u2019m.
