{"id":846,"date":"2009-08-01T19:38:27","date_gmt":"2009-08-01T19:38:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/cs\/mediacomputation-workshop\/"},"modified":"2009-08-01T19:38:27","modified_gmt":"2009-08-01T19:38:27","slug":"mediacomputation-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/cs\/mediacomputation-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"#mediacomputation workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am finally home and able to reflect.<\/p>\n<p>This was a really great workshop for me.&#160; It gave me three days to concentrate on media computation and how I want to use it.<\/p>\n<p>I am seriously thinking of putting Python in place instead of Raptor, but I still have to find a way to teach flowchart symbols.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m also thinking of putting it in at the end of the year instead of Pong.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll have to see.<\/p>\n<p>Super workshop though, and some really good stuff.&#160; Some can easily be adapted over to Visual Basic.&#160; Watch this space.<\/p>\n<p>Some more thoughts on the actual trip:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Most used tech items:&#160; Scottee T-Shirts \u2013 wore on the airplane and kept the phone close.     <br \/>&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; ATT Aircard \u2013 used at DFW airport and at the hotel, they almost had WiFi<\/p>\n<p>Most useful place: Walmart \u2013 walked over there 4 times total, spent money there 3 times<\/p>\n<p>Kindest TSA \u2013 Kansas City International Airport.&#160; <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am finally home and able to reflect.
