  • I got to swim in the pool!

    We have a pool. I’m STILL not sure it’s a good idea. We’ve had it since we’ve had this house, about 2 years.

    Anyway, I was able to get in the pool. It was cold. 78 degrees, but it was fairly warm outside and I was still hot from the gym.

    I managed to get across the pool 3 times, so add that with 30 minutes of cardio, 30 minutes of resistance training. Not bad.

  • I still don’t know what happened

    I still don’t know what happened yesterday, but I am going to decrease my twice a day insulin. I’ve been running much lower than usual all morning.

    Never odd.

  • Hitting Low

    I hit low this morning — 40 to be exact.

    I’m not sure what happened. My blood sugar was 136 before I ate breakfast. I ate a very low carb breakfast, but then I usually do. Started laundry, came upstairs to do a low, felt really dizzy, sat down at my desk and took my blood sugar and it was 68 using my arm. Took it again with my finger and it was 40.

  • Made it!

    Managed to increase exercise up to 45 minutes on my cardio only days. In fact did better on my weight training days.

  • This has been a tough week!

    It’s the end of the six weeks, we’ve got state testing next week, so life is weird.

    I’ve still managed my new exercise schedule though — and have been able to do a full 45 minutes on the elliptical trainer.

  • A quick brag…

    While I’m having a bit of trouble getting used to the new insulin….

    I went to the gym this afternoon, and blood sugar started out at 115. 45 minutes later of eliptical trainer, I was at 110. How did I do that?

  • Ask Questions!

    The moral of the story is to ASK questions.

    First, I’m delaying surgery, and going for the steriod injection. Doctor wants me to go that route.

  • Carpel Tunnel Surgery

    I still haven’t decided.

    It’s definately something that is worse when I am tired.

    I see the Primary Care physician tomorrow, so will make the final decision then.

  • Yesterday was just weird

    I think part of it was what I ate. I went fairly high carb. Sometimes I just get cravings and they make me nuts.

    Ended up having to inject a couple of times, but blood sugar is back to what I am used to seeing.

  • Made a new goal

    Managed to get in 6 days of exericse.

    3 resistance trainer + 30 cardio.

    3 of 40 cardio.
