Just because for 7 days you had the same readings, don’t think you will have the same on the 8th day. That’s how we end up in trouble.

Recovering from Carpel Tunnel
I got to take off my bandages this morning at the doctor’s office. I think there were 4 layers.
As you can tell by my post, my right hand is back. He used a surgical glue, and hand is healing well. He told me to use common sense on using the hand, though I don’t always show that so maybe he should be more specific.
I did very well with blood sugar throughout the whole episode. Finally did break down and let it get a bit high yesterday afternoon, but got it right back down.
It will be easier at the gym now, since I am two handed again!

Stress Rant
If you are not a diabetic, you have no idea what kind of stress diabetics can be under.
I assume it is better for people on oral meds, but I have a feeling there are other stressors involved.

Had to go through a Security Checkpoint Today
We’ve got a federal building “around the corner”, that houses a major portion of the IRS. They have a really nice office where you can drag your tax stuff over to them and get help on an issue.
Since the OKC Federal Building got bombed, security is very tight in this building. And I carry a bag with me at all times that has at least 4 days worth of supplies. Pain in the shoulder, but hey, if I ever DO get seperated from home for some reason I’m prepared. Plus, it’s just easier to refill everything every 4 days.
