Every patient has to make up their own mind with their doctor&#8217;s guidance.<\/p>\n<p>My problems are painful periods along with never wanting to have children.  The other problem, of course, is diabetes.  Most people who menastrate see changes in blood sugar.  I see a slight, temporary raising of blood sugar, but very slight with each shot.  <\/p>\n<p>My CDE thinks that the depo probably adds to insulin resistance and weight gain.
