{"id":28,"date":"2022-01-22T09:21:14","date_gmt":"2022-01-22T09:21:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/gym-posted-a-video-on-instagram\/"},"modified":"2022-01-22T09:21:14","modified_gmt":"2022-01-22T09:21:14","slug":"gym-posted-a-video-on-instagram","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/gym-posted-a-video-on-instagram\/","title":{"rendered":"Gym posted a video on Instagram"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have joined a new gym \u2014 literally new \u2014 it\u2019s only been open for a few months and they are still missing some of the equipment that they have ordered.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s at https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CY9fiszhq4m\/<\/p>\n<p>I do at least 20 minutes of walking on a treadmill each day \u2014 and start out each day with that. \u00a0That\u2019s for my spinal surgery recovery. \u00a0I\u2019m starting to do more, ever since I read an article at https:\/\/blog.myfitnesspal.com\/why-running-and-walking-is-unlikely-to-ruin-your-knees\/. \u00a0BTW, I almost always use an Apple Fitness Plus workout.<\/p>\n<p>Every doctor I\u2019ve seen about my knees has claimed that I need to stop exercising by walking but this article refutes that.<\/p>\n<p>I also do strength training. \u00a0I alternate between arms, legs, and an Apple Fitness core workout. \u00a0Weekly I work out with the club\u2019s fitness trainer, who took the video.<\/p>\n<p>I end the workout with more cardio \u2014 usually a Pelaton class, as the gym as two, or an Apple Fitness Plus workout.<\/p>\n<p>YES, I love Apple Fitness Plus and when I go to dog shows, I use the workouts in my hotel room.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have joined a new gym \u2014 literally new \u2014 it\u2019s only been open for a few months and they are still missing some of the equipment that they have ordered.
