She was 5 years old.<\/p>\n<p>She did everything right, called 911, administred medication (I assume glucose), and by the time the officers got there, he was recovering.<\/p>\n<p>The city gave her and her family an award, praising both her and her family for properly educating the family on how to help a diabetic.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>What is even neater, is that it was Southlake, TX whose PSD (public safety department) that is near and dear to my heart.  I helped train dogs with their K9 Academy for several years.
