{"id":3877,"date":"2003-05-03T03:28:03","date_gmt":"2003-05-03T03:28:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/still-frustrati\/"},"modified":"2003-05-03T03:28:03","modified_gmt":"2003-05-03T03:28:03","slug":"still-frustrati","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/still-frustrati\/","title":{"rendered":"Still frustrating &#8212; but met my exercise goal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am still losing the same 5 pounds.  <sigh><\/p>\n<p>BUT on the good side I met my exercise goals for the week.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>30 minutes of carbs with personal trainer &#8211; 2 days\n<li>45 minutes of cardio along &#8211; 3 days\n<li>and a bit of a bonus today, which was weird as on the way there, I told myself I could do just 45 minutes of cardio.  I ended up with 45 minutes of cardio plus resistance training.\n<\/ul>\n<p>More pluses.  I am using 58 units of 25\/75 insulin a day right now.  My worst was 72 units.  I must be doing something right because blood sugar is better.  I was also adding up to 40 units of regular insulin the days I was doing 72 units.  Right now the most I&#8217;ve added is 10 units, and most of the time I don&#8217;t need it, or I can do something to drop the blood sugar besides insulin.<\/p>\n<p>I am eating a lot less carbs.  I&#8217;m making better decisions on food.  <\/p>\n<p>People think I&#8217;ve lost weight.<\/p>\n<p>But I still keep losing the same five pounds.
