I took Prilosec for several years.  It almost worked.  I tried a double dose for a while, and it worked, but Prilosec + Propulsid worked better.  I will probablye forever rue the end of Propulsid (and I&#8217;m probably spelling it wrong), but it worked for me.<\/p>\n<p>I went to a double dose of Nexxium for a while.  It worked for quite a time, and it stopped with the insulin weight gain.<\/p>\n<p>Now I am on Protonix it.  It&#8217;s working better than the double Nexxium did over the past few months.<\/p>\n<p>The good news, for the insurance company, is that I&#8217;m on a regular dose with it.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully I&#8217;ll lose the weight before it stops working.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m really really trying&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My hero has been ranting about drugs.
