{"id":648,"date":"2012-08-27T19:25:32","date_gmt":"2012-08-27T19:25:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/dulce-should-be-going-to-school-tomorrow\/"},"modified":"2012-08-27T19:25:32","modified_gmt":"2012-08-27T19:25:32","slug":"dulce-should-be-going-to-school-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/dulce-should-be-going-to-school-tomorrow\/","title":{"rendered":"Dulce should be going to school tomorrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Though I did tell my principal he could say no, if he thought it wasn\u2019t a good day.<\/p>\n<p>I do think that today wouldn\u2019t have been good as much as I missed her.&#160; I\u2019ve missed her most of last week, so there you go.<\/p>\n<p>I have paperwork from the district allowing her as a Diabetes Alert Dog on a three month trial basis, to be reevaluated then.&#160; <\/p>\n<p>Personally that is more than I expected and very fair.<\/p>\n<p>I did have to correct the paperwork.&#160; Since it was written she has been reliably alerting lows, and they got her name wrong, but I really don\u2019t care about the name.<\/p>\n<p>I also go to talk to the parent of my one of my students who has poorly controlled diabetes.&#160; They have labs, and he is very much interested in getting help for his son.&#160; Seems that he has been having seizures lately.<\/p>\n<p>Tough.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Though I did tell my principal he could say no, if he thought it wasn\u2019t a good day.
