{"id":649,"date":"2012-08-25T18:30:08","date_gmt":"2012-08-25T18:30:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/working-without-my-dog\/"},"modified":"2012-08-25T18:30:08","modified_gmt":"2012-08-25T18:30:08","slug":"working-without-my-dog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/working-without-my-dog\/","title":{"rendered":"Working without my dog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had to leave Dulce at home last week.&#160; I took her with me Monday morning when I was volunteering, but the construction in the building was causing us both some wicked PSD (we had a truck drive into our house a year ago).<\/p>\n<p>Besides, I was drawing a paycheck on Thursday and Friday and we haven\u2019t had approval yet.&#160;&#160; I\u2019m told it\u2019s official and we\u2019re one signature away.<\/p>\n<p>We have done some dry runs.&#160; They have all gone well. <\/p>\n<p>She is polite and well mannered when we walk the hall, even when I have a full load.&#160; She ignores everyone.&#160; <\/p>\n<p>When we go into other people\u2019s classrooms she looks for discarded food and hangs out quietly while I help them.<\/p>\n<p>In our own place, she is happy with her office, and hangs out well there.<\/p>\n<p>It looks good.<\/p>\n<p>But man I miss her when I don\u2019t take her with me, and yes it encourages me to take her more for short errands.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had to leave Dulce at home last week.&#160; I took her with me Monday morning when I was volunteering, but the construction in the building was causing us both some wicked PSD (we had a truck drive into our house a year ago).
