{"id":709,"date":"2012-07-03T18:20:08","date_gmt":"2012-07-03T18:20:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/sleep-doctor-appointment\/"},"modified":"2012-07-03T18:20:08","modified_gmt":"2012-07-03T18:20:08","slug":"sleep-doctor-appointment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/sleep-doctor-appointment\/","title":{"rendered":"Sleep Doctor Appointment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The good news:&#160; they are going to electronic records and they should be on the same system with the primary care and the endocrinologist.<\/p>\n<p>The bad news:&#160; my appointment was at 1:15, and I got out at 3:30.<\/p>\n<p>But I have all new consumable equipment for my CPAP, including a water tank.<\/p>\n<p>I have a new mask: Quattro\u2122 FX Full Face \u2013 and it\u2019s the smallest mask I\u2019ve ever had.&#160; And I wear a size small.&#160; It\u2019s also the easiest I\u2019ve had to put on.<\/p>\n<p>He wasn\u2019t offended I picked a different primary care doctor:&#160; I started out by saying \u2013 if a doctor goes into primary care practice because they want the same hours as their kids, they probably won\u2019t work for a teacher, and he smiled at that \u2013 and said I picked a woman who was in the same office space as my endo and shared electronic records.&#160; He said that theirs should be the same too \u2013 which means that they should have already had my medication list!<\/p>\n<p>Oh well.<\/p>\n<p>I really like him and I expect to get a letter every year saying he retired.&#160; He did graduate from my high school in 1961.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The good news:&#160; they are going to electronic records and they should be on the same system with the primary care and the endocrinologist.
