{"id":719,"date":"2012-05-02T11:02:43","date_gmt":"2012-05-02T11:02:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/new-toy\/"},"modified":"2012-05-02T11:02:43","modified_gmt":"2012-05-02T11:02:43","slug":"new-toy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/new-toy\/","title":{"rendered":"New &#8220;Toy&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I love my <a class=\"zem_slink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fitbit.com\" rel=\"homepage\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Fitbit\">FitBit<\/a>, so I got their Aria Scale.&#0160; I have had a Titiana scale for years, and it has been great.&#0160; Handles my weight, seems to show <a class=\"zem_slink\" href=\"http:\/\/bmi.com\/\" rel=\"homepage\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Broadcast Music, Inc.\">BMI<\/a>, etc. but I figure it&#39;s time for something new.<\/p>\n<p>Got the scale last night, it&#39;s been on back order FOREVER.&#0160; It&#39;s <a class=\"zem_slink\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wireless\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Wireless\">wireless<\/a> and the setup was very different, but easy.&#0160; Was able to use the phone, and hooked up to the scale&#39;s wireless to give it the wireless key.<\/p>\n<p>Last night it had no trouble connecting to the wireless network and sending my weight, but this morning it took three tries.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#39;t realize it didn&#39;t hook up the first time, so two times I had to do it wet.&#0160; Well, I have long hair and wet means at least a pound of water.&#0160; Good news was that I was able to delete the wet weights and stay with a first thing in the morning dry weight.<\/p>\n<p>Working well.&#0160; My weight is transmitted to both the FitBit and the MyFitnessPal websites and synced.<\/p>\n<p>I may want some programming changes on the dashboard, we&#39;ll see.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love my FitBit, so I got their Aria Scale.&#0160; I have had a Titiana scale for years, and it has been great.&#0160; Handles my weight, seems to show BMI, etc. but I figure it&#39;s time for something new.
