{"id":87,"date":"2020-03-07T12:16:22","date_gmt":"2020-03-07T12:16:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/best-nights-sleep-in-a-while\/"},"modified":"2020-03-07T12:16:22","modified_gmt":"2020-03-07T12:16:22","slug":"best-nights-sleep-in-a-while","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kweaver.org\/diabetes\/best-nights-sleep-in-a-while\/","title":{"rendered":"Best Nights Sleep in a while"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I switched to a nasal cushion last year because my full face mask was wearing holes in my skin and my skin needed a rest.<\/p>\n<p>I just saw my sleep doctor Thursday and asked to go back. \u00a0He prescribed a Phillips Responics DreamWear Full Face mask. \u00a0He showed me one that was similar to the nasal cushion mask, but I didn\u2019t like that style as well.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest problem was figuring out how to put it on. \u00a0It fits below the nose with two holes for your nostrils. \u00a0I\u2019m so use to a full mask that goes over the nose I was confused.<\/p>\n<p>Once I figured it out, I was good to go. \u00a0Didn\u2019t wake up, and sleep soundly. \u00a0Also, when I woke up the mask was still on me.<\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s mask was this one:  ResMed AirFit\u2122 P10 For Her Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with Headgear<\/p>\n<p>The issue was that it would slide up my head and would be loose in the morning. \u00a0The machine wasn\u2019t registered that as a leak or other issue, which surprised me. \u00a0It was the top fit that was an issue.<\/p>\n<p>He had me try one a similar full face but I could tell I would have the sliding issue again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I switched to a nasal cushion last year because my full face mask was wearing holes in my skin and my skin needed a rest.
