I really do want to beat my head against a wall. My evaluator just asked me if I can program. I told him I wanted to beat my head against a wall.
I got asked what we do in Computer Science by a counselor the other day, too.
I’m not sure how to solve this problem.
I remember my first evaluation as a teacher. The Principal said “I had no idea what was going on in your classroom but it was clear that the students understood.” He never watched me teach again. I think he was afraid. 🙂 But clearly not being understood by administration and guidance is a real problem for CS programs.
