Windows Home Server (WHS) Comes to the Rescue again

I bought a cheap Seagate 500 gig external drive during their 12 days of Christmas sale.  Unfortunately it was very cheap, as it apparerently failed.

I was getting weird WHS server messages about files not being where they were supposed to be and I really didn't understand them (thus, they haven't stuck in my brain).

I decided to try rebooting the WHS and all of the external drives, included the new Seagate one.  It wasn't having anything of it, and didn't boot back up.  It was obviously the culprit, and I've tried hooking it up to one of the Windows 7 machine and it still isn't talking to me.

So I removed the drive, ran the backup repair utility and everything is happy again.  At the same time, I've purchased a Verbatium 1 terabyte extra drive and have it attached to the WHS.

I love my WHS!
