My pharmacy service won’t be thrilled with this one either — they are partnered with Accucheck. This does everything my PDA program does. Test strips are around $75.00 and the meter is running $85.00. You can usually get meters free though since they are a one time purchase.

I bet if you look hard, you can find something like this in your area.
Of course, anything that you do that helps you limit how much shopping you do, and how many choices you have would also do the trick.
