Man, I can’t stop thinking about last night. It makes a funny story, but at the same time, it’s scary as hell.

I went too low tonight. Probably spent 5 minutes too many at the gym.

It’s probably the insulin, but man, I’ve done everything right this week:
Exercised 5 times in the week, cardio 40 minutes most days. Had to quit on Friday after 20 minutes + weights because blood sugar was too low. Weights 3 times too.
Did real good on food each day.
Hormones aren’t a problem because I’ve been on depo prevera for over 10 years.
The only good news on this is that I was wearing a size smaller pair of jeans yesterday than I had been.
Just flat argh!
I’d say the biggest difference is that I’ve been waking up to go to the bathroom almost everynight and have been doing some coughing, which is usually a sign of gastric reflux for me.
My pharmacy service won’t be thrilled with this one either — they are partnered with Accucheck. This does everything my PDA program does. Test strips are around $75.00 and the meter is running $85.00. You can usually get meters free though since they are a one time purchase.
I knew this from the day it came out…
