The exercise thing is going well so far this week.
I am enjoying working with Tricia. She lets me do my workout on an exercise ball, which is good for my back. Also makes me giggle when I lose my balance.
I’ve won two contests at the club. I really like the long running contest the best. Starting in January, those in the contest are on a punch card system. You get a punch every time you work out, and then every quarter they have a drawing for several prizes.
I had accumulated 8 cards (with 8 punches) a piece. And yeah, I won a candle, and it’s nice, but what was REALLY nice was seeing the stack of 8 cards and knowing I’d been in that many times!
We’ve started a new color this quarter, so it will be nice to see the next stack of cards.
The other contest went for 2 weeks, and we accumulated points. That was one reason I was doing the 60 minutes of cardio a day during spring break. I won a $25.00 gift certificate for that one, which I am applying towards a block of personal training.
I am a bit afraid to get a block of personal training. Seems my other trainers changed jobs in the middle of my last block with them.
