I am a Type 2 Diabetic (probably), and use an insulin pump. Not many Type 2's do. I have learned a lot from the Type 1 community, probably more from them than Type 2.
Why? I am extremely sensitive to glucose in my bloodstream and it affects my cognitive ability. I found pills very ineffective, and found dosing insulin didn't do the jump well enough for me. I didn't like the spikes I got.
However, there is a strong possibility that I am both types, since there is evidence that my pancreas doesn't work.
