Byetta is a new injectable for Type 2s on some oral medications, so I can’t help you with that one. However, there is a discussion forum for it at the Diabetes Blog.

I have been on byetta for 3 weeks and have not seen any improvement. My numbers are still high and I’m totally depressed because of the side effects: nausea, dizziness and feeling just tired. I try to exercise and keep on a good diet. However, I have lost 10 pounds. I am now getting the red itchy welps and burning and have not started the 10mg dose.
Has anyone suffered the symptoms that I’m going through? Could sure use some good advice. Thanks…
