I’m a GERD patient, and it is frustrating to a GERD patient.
The manufacturer claims that Nexxium is different than Prilosec.
Well, my body says it is. I took Prilosec for several years. It almost worked. I tried a double dose for a while, and it worked, but Prilosec + Propulsid worked better. I will probablye forever rue the end of Propulsid (and I’m probably spelling it wrong), but it worked for me.
I went to a double dose of Nexxium for a while. It worked for quite a time, and it stopped with the insulin weight gain.
Now I am on Protonix it. It’s working better than the double Nexxium did over the past few months.
The good news, for the insurance company, is that I’m on a regular dose with it.
Hopefully I’ll lose the weight before it stops working.
