For the sake of the people who have to handle your trash, get a sharps container for your lancelets and for your needles. Even non-insulin users should have a container for your lancelets.
I use the BD Home Sharps Container. They run under $2.00 a piece. I keep one everywhere I use sharps or needles. Thus, since I eat breakfast in my car, and often test there, I have one there. I also have one in my classroom, one in my kitchen and one upstairs in my office. That was one is my bathroom for a time, but it wasn’t convenient. Make sure they are convenient.
They make a version for pin needles, but you don’t need to use it if you use the Humalog pin needle. I suspect these are for Novalog pin needles? I would be interested in an answer on that.

The CDE’s told me I could make one with a red detergent bottle, but I like these better.
