The Downingtown Area School District agreed yesterday to allow a Lionville Middle School sixth grader coping with diabetes to take physical education classes every day, as his family had requested.

Argh! I hate this. I'm a high school teacher dealing with remedial kids who can't use computers.

I would bet money these kids were pulled out gym. computer class etc. so they would get extra math/english time.

However this kid is getting opposite.

If I were the parent, I'd find a before school exercise program. skip the school gym program and have him in extra reading but that's just because I know what not being able to read goes for you.
