Not good at liquid medications

New medication I am hooked on – Riomet – liquid form of Metforium.

I started taking it about a 4 months ago, I know this because I just ran out.  I am not good at milliliters, and am not good a liquid medications at all.  My saving grace was getting a teaspoon doser, and I need to get another one.

I was due to get a refill, and didn’t realize how close I was getting to running out, but my first panic, was how in the heck am I supposed to fly with this stuff.  I’m leaving for California on Sunday.

So I had already emailed my endocrinologist about it.

Then, last night, I emptied the 90 day bottle.  Whoops.

I finally read the bottle and compared the doser.  Whoops.  The bottle said 500 ml, which is a 1 teaspoon dose, and the doctor had switched me to a 2 teaspoon dose (1000 ml).

He called right at 8:00, and has a prescription over at my pharmacy already and one on the way to Medco.  Unfortunately the pharmacy doesn’t open until 9:00.  Wonder what the chances are they even have the Riomet there?
