A letter to the DOC

Bet most of you don't remember that I was first and have been the longest. My first blog entry was in February 2003.  David Mendosa has been writing about Type 2 diabetes longer, but didn't start blogging for a while after I did.

I haven't changed my domain, though I have changed software and don't always have this blog as my most prominent.  All those entries are still there!

For years I was pretty much anonymous and didn't say much about my personal life. My blogging tends to parallels what is going on in my personal life.  The more I blog, the better control I have.

I don't try to make money though I did sign up for some ad opportunities. Haven't made a dime. Don't care though.

For me, its about writing and about recording what is going for me. Especially when it isn't working.

Those of us who dealing with Type 2 are dealing with a life time of habits. Environment is tough to fight. I have been taught to focus when I have a challenge or opportunity and I frequently get caught up in them.

In fact, I am in the middle of one that has made managing diabetes a challenge.

So don't forget me when I get wrapped up in one of those projects, as I do keep up with many of you.
