I was at a meeting today in a Starbucks. Dulce was behaved beautifully, though I did have my foot on the leash all the time, and we got there early for her to have staked the place out.
About 1 1/2 hours into the meeting she got restless, tapped my ankle a couple of times, I checked, and yes, had started a massing drop. Treated her, treated my blood sugar, etc.
A few minutes later, our meeting was interrupted by the people next to us, they had just noticed her and wanted to know about her. I gave them a quick overview.
The person I met with noticed her at the beginning of the meeting, but didn’t notice the alert, just that I had stopped, tested and treated. I told her to go on, I do this process in my sleep literally.
She finally commented at the end of the meeting that the dog was really good, hadn’t gone to the bathroom while we in the meeting. I dropped everything off at the car, took Dulce to grass, but she didn’t go.
Perfect meeting behavior, what I expect and get 90% of the time.
