I love my UPS guy

He was in the neighborhood and redelivered my pump! I am SO Happy. It pays to live on the corner of a busy street. I’m sure he did it because it wasn’t out of his way.

I’m uploading the data unto the new pump as I type.

And conformation class went well. I checked my blood sugar before class — it was 191, did NOT correct and after class was 107. That’s something to remember!

You made have posted this and I don’t remember – did you get another IR1250 or go to something different? I have an appt. on Aug. 7 to talk to my endo about a pump. They recommend the Minimed 722. From a comparison chart I liked the bigger screen size and battery life of the 1250. I don’t know if there’s enough difference to push for that though. I’ve read of billing and other administrative problems with the MM products. Confusing… This will be my first pump and I figure I’ll get used to whatever it has. Any suggestions? (I’m also Type 2 and a TX teacher. School starts Aug. 9 for us so this is crowding things a bit.)
