I’m seeing my endo on Tuesday, and I’ve sent an email with a head’s up. I want to talk to him about switching to Byetta from Symlin for at least a short trial. I’m not losing weight, and in fact am gaining weight.
It’s been very frustrating, especially since I did have good results on the Symlin before.
so, i just recently heard about symlin and… just curious, but who is it good for? it is for use with insulin to help insulin effectiveness i think i gathered from another site. i am just curious if it would be at all useful to me.

I think Byetta can be used only by those who are not on insulin. If you find that this is not true, please post!
