I have a new PCP. My old one was driving me nuts.
When this one came into the room, she noticed my Omnipod, which I had one my arm. After introductions, she asked if it were an Omnipod. I said yes, and we discussed it. She immediately passed the interview as she did not tell me I was wearing it wrong. That was the first interaction I had with my old primary care physician.
My old primary care physician was not happy with my weight loss. I’ve whined about that a lot. My endocrinologist has been happy with it. One of the reasons I don’t lose weight as quick as she would like, is that I am focusing on building muscle.
When I asked her questions in the portal she didn’t answer them.
I shared all this with the new PCP and she was okay with it all. I told her if she didn’t want to answer a question, just ask me to make an appointment. Always happy to do that.
