Mental Load

It’s a thing. I told a personal trainer this week that I can’t keep track of my macros because of the mental load.

Here’s to thing. It’s the diabetes thing — it always gives a mental load.

If I want to eat carbs, I have to go to an app, enter carbs, click to accept the blood sugar reading and click to finally give a bolus.

If I want to work out, I have to go to an app, enter activity mode or eat some carbs so I can work out.

I checked my blood sugar via my watch twice during Pilates class today. And my alerts went off while I was doing cardio before the class.

Lately I’ve been tracking my sleep, trying to get it under control.
